樂(lè)隊(duì)發(fā)行了5張都堪稱(chēng)經(jīng)典的專(zhuān)輯之后，開(kāi)始了幾乎是史上最大規(guī)模的巡演！32個(gè)國(guó)家，322天，演出192場(chǎng)，用去6392根吉他弦，3760根鼓槌，3008個(gè)吉他撥片。這些都是網(wǎng)上給出的統(tǒng)計(jì)數(shù)據(jù)，看上去簡(jiǎn)直不可思議，但是這的的確確發(fā)生在Iron Maiden身上！樂(lè)隊(duì)長(zhǎng)達(dá)11個(gè)月的世界巡演被整理收錄在了1985年的雙張現(xiàn)場(chǎng)《Live After Death》當(dāng)中。迄今為止，《Live After Death》被認(rèn)為是Iron Maiden最有代表性的現(xiàn)場(chǎng)專(zhuān)輯之一。
