Brooke Elizabeth White (born June 2, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter and the fifth place finalist of the seventh season of American Idol. White's first post-Idol album, High Hopes & Heartbreak, will be available July 21. The first single, "Hold Up My Heart," debuted at number forty-seven on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number two on the iTunes Pop Singles Chart.[2]
