by Chris True The odd combination of an Englishman in the midst of southeastern Texans, Electric Touch was borne out of the demise of British band IV Thieves and Houston, Texas' Bojones. Shane Lawlor, Christopher Messina, Ross Dubois and Louis Messina, Jr. came together in Austin, and quickly won a following with well-received gigs at Coachella and South By Southwest. The band was set to release their debut full length -- recorded with producer Chris Smith -- in mid-2008.
